Those whose minds have reached full excellence,
In the factors of awakening,
Who, having renounced acquisitiveness,
Rejoice in not clinging to things.
Rid of taints, glowing with wisdom,
They have attained nibbāna in this very life.

Saturday Meditation at the Monastery

We intend to offer, at no cost, a weekly group meditation on Saturday mornings at the Sitagu Buddha Vihara (32500 Lofton Ave., Chisago City, MN 55013), foreseeably in time to welcome in the Spring by the end of this month (March, 2026). We are reaching out to potential participants to encourage as many people as possible to join us for this weekly meditation.

If you are interested, please let us know below. We would also like to know your preferences and needs. In particular:

  • Do you need beginners’ instruction?
  • 8:00 AM has been suggested as a start time. What works best for you? Are there additional times in the week you would like to be available for meditation?
  • For how long do you comfortably sit in meditation on the floor or in a chair?
